Lowe's to open new store in Clemson, South Carolina

Lowe's Companies, a home improvement retailer, has announced that it will open a new store in Clemson, South Carolina on January 22, 2010. The company said that the home improvement store will have 94,000sqft of retail sales space, with an adjacent garden center, stocking 32,000 different items to help customers build, improve and beautify their homes. A store of this size represents an average investment in the community of approximately $12.5 million and creates up to 120 new jobs, the company added.
